Twitter is the “in” thing these days. Everybody is tweeting. With such a huge social network and micro-blogging platform, it is a goldmine for us Internet Marketers to utilise it for various purposes like getting traffic, branding, selling stuff and more. The most important thing that we need to unleash the power of twitter is “followers”. Without followers we can do nothing. It is true that we can build up decent list of followers if we give enough time, but we prefer fast, don’t we? It has been seen that one of the easiest way to get followers on twitter is to follow others and the usually follow you back. But it is boring and time-consuming to manually select users and follow them. So it’s time to get automated. Up to now there was a good service provided by Flashtweet that allowed us to mass follow users based on keywords. But sadly it does not work any more and they charge a fee. A single script may not do all the work but if you let them work in tandem then I’m sure you will not need any commercial script or tool.
Admiyn Mass Twitter Follower:
Admiyn Mass Twitter Follower is a small script that lets you auto follow users based on a particular topic. You have to download the script at first from here. Then you need to enter your user name and password which enables the script to log into your account. On the next page you get to enter a keyword and set a limit for the number of users you wish to follow. Remember that twitter has a limit of users that you can follow per day, so make sure that you remain within the limit. Assume that you enter “twitter script”. Then the script will search the phrase “twitter script” and find out users were talking about it from their tweets. Their script will now add users based on your phrase. The script does not use that twitter API, so is slower compared to Flashtweet. Just leave it on for 15 minutes or so like you do with an anti-virus and let it do its work. If you do this regularly, along with the other script mentioned below, you soon built up a huge list of followers on twitter.
Mass Twitter Action and Retrieve Script :
Mass Twitter Action and Retrieve Script is a script that perfectly complements Admiyn Mass Twitter Follower and makes the combination a killer. This script lets you retrieve the list of followers and friends you have on twitter and then follow or remove them. This is particularly useful if you already have a list of users on twitter that you wish to follow. All you need to do is to put the list of users in the box and enter your user name and password. Then the script automatically follows or removes all those users on the list.
Twitter karma:
Everybody knows about twitter karma. Twitter karma in a free service that lets you un-follow all those users whom you were following but they are not following back. After you have followed 2000 users on twitter, there comes a restriction upon the number of users that you can follow. You can only follow a little more than the total number of users following you. So it becomes very important to remove those friends who were not following you. That’s why you need to use twitter karma to weed out those were not following you that and concentrate on new users.
