Epic- The first Indian Browser

Good news for all Indians around the world. Finally, India has set her feet in the battle of the browsers. In a market dominated by the likes of Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera, the first indigenous browser is ready to make its mark.

The browser named EPIC, has been developed by the Bangalore based Hidden Reflex and is powered by open source Mozilla platform. It has been specially customized to suit the needs of Indian people and has a host of Indianized features like support for 12 Indian languages, 1500+ customised Indian themes, live cricket scores, regional news and more.

This thing also claims to be “the world’s only anti-virus browser”, being powered by an inbuilt antivirus from ESET, the people behing NOD32. Now that’s a very nice addition in my opinion. Being based on Mozilla, Firefox users can rest assured that a switch from FF to EPIC would be very smooth indeed. Though specially made for Indians by Indians, I felt anyone would be able to get hang of it pretty quick and fall in love with this. So, don’t forget to at test drive Epic. After all this is the first Hindustani Browser.
